The Motion Kids Dream Team

Motion Kids exists to partner with families by helping children build a strong foundation of faith in a joyful, secure environment. Every service, kids are welcomed into spaces designed just for them—where they can laugh, learn, worship, and discover who God is in ways they can understand.

Volunteers play a vital role in shaping these moments by creating safe classrooms, meaningful connections, and memorable experiences. Whether serving directly with children or supporting behind the scenes, the Motion Kids team helps make church a place kids love and parents trust. Training is provided, and every role is designed to make a lasting impact in the lives of children and families.

  • Dreamers Leader

Create a loving, calm environment for our youngest kids, ages 0–3, where they feel safe, cared for, and welcomed. Dreamers Leaders support playtime, simple worship moments, and age-appropriate Bible truths, helping children experience church in a gentle and nurturing way.

  • Heroes Leader

Help children ages 4 through Kindergarten discover who God is through movement, music, games, and interactive Bible stories. Heroes Leaders create fun, structured environments where kids build friendships, follow routines, and begin to understand God’s love in ways they can grasp.

  • Legends Leaders

Lead kids in Grades 1–5 through engaging games, Bible teaching, and meaningful conversations that help them apply faith to everyday life. Legends Leaders encourage questions, prayer, and discussion, helping kids grow in confidence, community, and their relationship with Jesus.

  • Motion Kids Plus

Serve children with special needs in a safe, inclusive environment at our downtown campus. This team provides the support each child needs to engage in our kids’ environments and experience church in a way that works best for them.

  • Worship Team

Lead kids into worship through singing and music at the beginning of each service. This team helps create joyful, engaging worship moments that invite kids to participate and connect with God.

  • Media Operator

Run lyrics, slides, and simple sound equipment during Legends services to support worship and teaching. This role is great for pre-teens, teens, or adults who enjoy technology and serving behind the scenes.

  • Check-In

Welcome families as they arrive and help create a smooth, friendly start to their experience. The Kids Check-In team assists parents with checking in on the iPad, printing name tags and security labels, and answering questions before kids head to their classrooms. This role helps parents feel confident and kids feel excited from the very first moment.

  • Security

Help maintain safe environments by securing venues at the beginning of services and assisting with child pick-up at the end. Kids Security provides peace of mind for families and supports a secure check-in and check-out process.

  • Hallway Team

Support classrooms by monitoring hallways and bathrooms during services. This team also helps children who need a short break or assistance returning to their parents in the auditorium.

  • Decor

Prepare fun and engaging classroom environments by assisting with simple décor projects. Attend prep parties or work on easy projects from home during the week. No creative experience required.
